Got this clip from Richie himself. A feature on CNN about his last dance. At first when I heard about the final battle I wasnt really thinking it was gonna be his last battle but seeing and hearing about his plans makes sense now. Super dope to watch him do his thing for over 35 years now. Its crazy as well to watch him from his years in movies and even seeing him on the Grind on MTV, as well as in Japan while he was on tour with Jam on the Groove and even seeing him throw down at the early Bboy Summit’s to being able to say he’s actually a friend of mine and I could call on him pretty much anytime if I need anything at all.
He isnt done dancing but his battle days are over so all you hungry bboy’s trying to step to him in a cypher dont waste your time its not going down like that. Luckily though he will be teaching out and about and passing what he’s learned from the past 3 decades on to the next generation so if you ever hear about a class go and check it! You never know when that real retirement is when he actually hangs up the adidas for good and takes on Djing fool time….So will we ever see another person like Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew?
